Visit to the Hermione in the USA
Six months after our pen pals in La Rochelle visited the Hermione before her departure for the U.S, some of our students visited her here at home. What a wonderful connection this made for our Holliston students!

Retour vers l'Hermione
Jeudi 26 mars, la classe de cm1 est allée voir l'Hermione à La Rochelle cette fois-ci;
le bateau y est depuis un mois dans le Vieux port (dans le bassin des Chalutiers exactement).
J'ai préféré les tags qu 'on a été voir près du vieux port. Joana
J'ai adoré quand on a fait la vidéo de l'Hermione. Kylian$$$$$
J'ai bien aimé quand on a pris des photos du vieux port.
J'ai préféré quand on a fait des photos de groupes devant les tags

un petit exposé de Robinson,élève de cm1 et passionné de bateaux,
sur l'Hermione :
L’Hermione
L’Hermione
est une frégate de 12 (poids des boulets);
12livres
=6kg; l’Hermione fait 45 m de long.
Tout
le cordage aligné mesure 30 km.
Le
18 avril prochain, l’Hermione partira de Rochefort (FR) et ira à
Boston (U.S.A).

construction de l’Hermione a duré 17 ans !!!

L’Hermione
appartenait à Lafayette qui pendant la guerre d’indépendance alla
en Amérique pour donner main forte aux Américains.
